WHAT WERE YOUR EXPERIENCES DURING THE PROJECT?

Did you work with your students on a project by e-mail or Wiki? Then you have to do something with the results! Here are a few ways to share your experiences:

  • You could make a presentation on the website of your school.
  • Students could present their project by computer computer/beamer/Smartboard to their peers.
  • You could organize a parents evening and let the students present the project.
  • How about an article in the school newspaper?
  • Colour posters have great attraction and can be shown around the school.
  • Students can create a booklet as a nice reminder.

If you have finished your project together, do something with it! Celebrate it together.

Digital project

Did you work with your students on a project, by e-mail or WIKI? Then you have to do something with the results.

  • You could make a presentation on the website of your school.
  • Students could present their project by computer/beamer/smartboard to peer-students.
  • You could also organise a parents evening and let the students present the project.
  • How about an article in the school paper?
  • Colour posters have great attraction and could be shown around school.
  • What about a booklet as a nice reminder?
  • If you have finished your project together...do something with it! Celebrate it together.
  • You can send text and pictures to the school's webmaster to be published on the school's website or create a web log. That way, parents/guardians and other pupils/people interested can keep up with the trip.

You can exchange experiences with everyone involved. You could do the following:

  • You can put a questionnaire in an electronic learning environment and let the students fill it in.
  • You can organise a parents meeting where parents can look at the pupils’ presentations. The presentations will of course be about the project. You can also talk about how the parents have experienced the exchange. Share the experience together; all parties will greatly appreciate this.

It is important to celebrate a successful exchange together; effectuate the success of experiences!

If a project is done, how will you evaluate it?

Very often evaluating a project is left out due to lack of time, one forgets it completely, or people are already busy doing other things.

Evaluation is important because you want to discuss the experiences. Students can talk about points they are not happy about and can share their successful experiences with each other and teachers.

During the evaluation you can also make the project visual to make other teachers and pupils enthusiastic for international projects.

Make plans in advance about how you will evaluate your project with your pupils. Plan you evaluation.

Enjoy your exchanges, before, during but certainly also after this trip. Enjoy it together!
